Fairfax, VA – With a sold-out performance by RBD on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, EagleBank Arena recorded the highest grossing event in venue history with over $1.9 million in total gross ticket sales. The record-breaking concert featuring the multi-generational pop sensation reached a complete sellout within 48 hours of the show’s on sale window, selling over 7,800 tickets.

Previous arena gross records include Maná in October 2019 ($943k) and Romeo Santos in March 2018 ($940k).

 

RBD is currently on their 26-city international tour, Soy Rebelde, produced by T6H Entertainment and Live Nation. The musical group composed of Anahí, Maite Perroni, Dulce María, Christopher von Uckermann, and Christian Chávez is currently celebrating their 20th anniversary with performances at stadiums and arenas throughout the United States, Mexico, and Brazil through December 2023.

 

EagleBank Arena, managed by Monumental Sports & Entertainment and located on the campus on George Mason University, is home to over a hundred live events each year, including Mason men’s and women’s basketball, commencement ceremonies, family shows, comedians, and chart-topping performers. The venue originally opened in 1984 as the Patriot Center and has hosted some of music’s biggest stars including Bruce Springsteen, Prince, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Dolly Parton, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Alan Jackson, and more.
